Ezekiel 10:12

10:12 along with their entire bodies, their backs, their hands, and their wings. The wheels of the four of them were full of eyes all around.

Ezekiel 22:13-14

22:13 “‘See, I strike my hands together at the dishonest profit you have made, and at the bloodshed they have done among you. 22:14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong when I deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it!

tc The MT reads “his hand” while many Hebrew mss as well as the Qere read “hands of.” Two similar Hebrew letters, vav and yod, have been confused.

tc The phrase “along with their entire bodies” is absent from the LXX and may be a gloss explaining the following words.

sn This gesture apparently expresses mourning and/or anger (see 6:11; 21:14, 17).

tn Heb “the blood which was in you.”

tn Heb “stand.” The heart here stands for the emotions; Jerusalem would panic in the face of God’s judgment.

tn Heb “in the days when I act against you.”

tn Heb “and upright men will judge them (with) the judgment of adulteresses and the judgment of those who shed blood.”

tn Heb “with all your scorn in (the) soul.”
