1 tn Heb “this.” The translation uses “that” to avoid confusion; earlier in the verse Moses refers to Transjordan as “this land.”
2 tn Heb “(as) an inheritance,” that is, landed property that one can pass on to one’s descendants.
3 tn Heb “the Lord.” The pronoun has been used in the translation for stylistic reasons to avoid redundancy.
4 tn Heb “fathers.”
