20:18 so that they cannot teach you all the abhorrent ways they worship ¹  their gods, causing you to sin against the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 26:17

26:17 Today you have declared the Lord to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.

Deuteronomy 32:4

32:4 As for the Rock, ²  his work is perfect,

for all his ways are just.

He is a reliable God who is never unjust,
