2:27 “Let me pass through your land; I will keep strictly to the roadway. ¹  I will not turn aside to the right or the left.

Deuteronomy 9:14

9:14 Stand aside ²  and I will destroy them, obliterating their very name from memory, ³  and I will make you into a stronger and more numerous nation than they are.”

Deuteronomy 17:17

17:17 Furthermore, he must not marry many ⁴  wives lest his affections turn aside, and he must not accumulate much silver and gold.
