Acts 3:3

3:3 When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple courts, ¹  he asked them for money. ² 

Acts 4:37

4:37 sold ³  a field ⁴  that belonged to him and brought the money ⁵  and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

¹ tn Grk “the temple.” This is actually a reference to the courts surrounding the temple proper, and has been translated accordingly.

³ tn Grk “selling a field that belonged to him, brought” The participle πωλήσας (pwlhsa") has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.
