9:2 When you arrive there, look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi and take him aside into an inner room. ¹

10:29 However, Jehu did not repudiate the sins which Jeroboam son of Nebat had encouraged Israel to commit; the golden calves remained in Bethel ¹¹  and Dan. ¹² 

2 Kings 12:1

12:1 (12:2) In Jehu’s seventh year Jehoash became king; he reigned for forty years in Jerusalem. ¹³  His mother was Zibiah, who was from Beer Sheba.

2 Kings 14:8

14:8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel. He said, “Come, let’s meet face to face.” ¹⁴ 

2 Kings 15:12

15:12 His assassination brought to fulfillment the Lord’s word to Jehu, ¹⁵  “Four generations of your descendants will rule over Israel.” ¹⁶  That is exactly what happened. ¹⁷
