2 Kings 2:15

2:15 When the members of the prophetic guild in Jericho,¹ who were standing at a distance,² saw him do this, they said, “The spirit that energized Elijah³ rests upon Elisha.” They went to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him.

2 Kings 7:4

7:4 If we go into the city, we’ll die of starvation,⁴ and if we stay here we’ll die! So come on, let’s defect⁵ to the Syrian camp! If they spare us,⁶ we’ll live; if they kill us – well, we were going to die anyway.”⁷

2 Kings 7:10

7:10 So they went and called out to the gatekeepers⁸ of the city. They told them, “We entered the Syrian camp and there was no one there. We didn’t even hear a man’s voice.⁹ But the horses and donkeys are still tied up, and the tents remain up.”¹⁰

2 Kings 11:18-19

11:18 All the people of the land went and demolished¹¹ the temple of Baal. They smashed its altars and idols¹² to bits.¹³ They killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altar. Jehoiada the priest¹⁴ then placed guards at the Lord’s temple. 11:19 He took the officers of the units of hundreds, the Carians, the royal bodyguard, and all the people of land, and together they led the king down from the Lord’s temple. They entered the royal palace through the Gate of the Royal Bodyguard,¹⁵ and the king¹⁶ sat down on the royal throne.

2 Kings 13:21

13:21 One day some men¹⁷ were burying a man when they spotted¹⁸ a raiding party. So they threw the dead man¹⁹ into Elisha’s tomb. When the body²⁰ touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man²¹ came to life and stood on his feet.

2 Kings 17:26

17:26 The king of Assyria was told,²² “The nations whom you deported and settled in the cities of Samaria do not know the requirements of the God of the land, so he has sent lions among them. They are killing the people²³ because they do not know the requirements of the God of the land.”
