2:2 For if I make you sad, who would be left to make me glad ¹  but the one I caused to be sad?

12:5 On behalf of such an individual I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except about my weaknesses.

⁷ tn Grk “with this confidence of boasting.” The genitive καυχήσεως (kauchsew") has been translated as an attributed genitive (the noun in the genitive gives an attribute of the noun modified).
