2 Chronicles 9:8

9:8 May the Lord your God be praised because he favored ¹  you by placing you on his throne as the one ruling on his behalf! ²  Because of your God’s love for Israel and his lasting commitment to them, ³  he made you king over them so you could make just and right decisions.” ⁴ 

2 Chronicles 14:11

14:11 Asa prayed ⁵  to the Lord his God: “O Lord, there is no one but you who can help the weak when they are vastly outnumbered. ⁶  Help us, O Lord our God, for we rely on you and have marched on your behalf against this huge army. ⁷  O Lord our God, don’t let men prevail against you!” ⁸
