Solomon’s Reign Ends

9:29 The rest of the events of Solomon’s reign, from start to finish, are recorded ¹  in the Annals of Nathan the Prophet, the Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and the Vision of Iddo the Seer pertaining to Jeroboam son of Nebat.

2 Chronicles 25:4

25:4 However, he did not execute their sons. He obeyed the Lord’s commandment as recorded in the law scroll of Moses, ²  “Fathers must not be executed for what their sons do, ³  and sons must not be executed for what their fathers do. ⁴  A man must be executed only for his own sin.” ⁵

2 Chronicles 34:31

34:31 The king stood by his pillar ⁸  and renewed ⁹  the covenant before the Lord, agreeing to follow ¹⁰  the Lord and to obey his commandments, laws, and rules with all his heart and being, ¹¹  by carrying out the terms ¹²  of this covenant recorded on this scroll.
