2 Chronicles 8:14
8:14 As his father David had decreed, Solomon 1 appointed the divisions of the priests to do their assigned tasks, the Levitical orders to lead worship and help the priests with their daily tasks, 2 and the divisions of the gatekeepers to serve at their assigned gates. 3 This was what David the man of God had ordered. 4
2 Chronicles 19:11
19:11 You will report to Amariah the chief priest in all matters pertaining to the Lord’s law, and to Zebadiah son of Ishmael, the leader of the family of Judah, in all matters pertaining to the king. 5 The Levites will serve as officials before you. Confidently carry out your duties! 6 May the Lord be with those who do well!”
2 Chronicles 31:16
31:16 They made disbursements to all the males three years old and up who were listed in the genealogical records – to all who would enter the Lord’s temple to serve on a daily basis and fulfill their duties as assigned to their divisions. 7
2 Chronicles 35:3
35:3 He told the Levites, who instructed all Israel about things consecrated to the Lord, “Place the holy ark in the temple which King Solomon son of David of Israel built. Don’t carry it on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel!
