2 Chronicles 6:16

6:16 Now, O Lord God of Israel, keep the promise you made to your servant, my father David, when you said, ‘You will never fail to have a successor ruling before me on the throne of Israel, ¹  provided that your descendants watch their step and obey my law as you have done.’ ² 

2 Chronicles 20:17

20:17 You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the Lord deliver you, ³  O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! ⁴  Tomorrow march out toward them; the Lord is with you!’”

2 Chronicles 30:6

30:6 Messengers ⁵  delivered the letters from the king and his officials throughout Israel and Judah.

This royal edict read: ⁶  “O Israelites, return to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so he may return ⁷  to you who have been spared from the kings of Assyria. ⁸ 

2 Chronicles 35:21

35:21 Necho ⁹  sent messengers to him, saying, “Why are you opposing me, O king of Judah? ¹⁰  I am not attacking you today, but the kingdom with which I am at war. ¹¹  God told me to hurry. Stop opposing God, who is with me, or else he will destroy you.” ¹²
