Amaziah’s Reign

25:1 Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ¹  His mother was Jehoaddan, who was from Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 26:3

26:3 Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem. ²  His mother’s name was Jecholiah, who was from Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 32:9

32:9 Afterward King Sennacherib of Assyria, while attacking Lachish with all his military might, sent his messengers ³  to Jerusalem. The message was for King Hezekiah of Judah and all the people of ⁴  Judah who were in Jerusalem. It read:

34:32 He made all who were in Jerusalem and Benjamin agree to it. ⁵  The residents of Jerusalem acted in accordance with the covenant of God, the God of their ancestors.
