Jehoshaphat’s Reign Ends

20:31 Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king and he reigned for twenty-five years in Jerusalem. ¹  His mother was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.

2 Chronicles 21:20

21:20 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. No one regretted his death; ²  he was buried in the City of David, ³  but not in the royal tombs.

Amaziah’s Reign

25:1 Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ⁴  His mother was Jehoaddan, who was from Jerusalem.

2 Chronicles 26:3

26:3 Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem. ⁵  His mother’s name was Jecholiah, who was from Jerusalem.

28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. ⁶  He did not do what pleased the Lord, in contrast to his ancestor David. ⁷

29:1 Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ⁸  His mother was Abijah, ⁹  the daughter of Zechariah.

Jehoiakim’s Reign

36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem. ¹⁰  He did evil in the sight of ¹¹  the Lord his God.

2 Chronicles 36:17

36:17 He brought against them the king of the Babylonians, who slaughtered ¹²  their young men in their temple. ¹³  He did not spare ¹⁴  young men or women, or even the old and aging. God ¹⁵  handed everyone over to him.
