2 Chronicles 20:10

20:10 Now the Ammonites, Moabites, and men from Mount Seir are coming! When Israel came from the land of Egypt, you did not allow them to invade these lands. They bypassed them and did not destroy them.

2 Chronicles 25:17

25:17 After King Amaziah of Judah consulted with his advisers, he sent this message to the king of Israel, Joash son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, “Come, face me on the battlefield.”

tn Heb “now, look, the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir.”

tn Heb “whom you did not allow Israel to enter when they came from the land of Egypt.”

tn The words “with his advisers” are supplied in the translation for clarification.

tn Heb “let us look at each other [in the] face.” The expression refers here not to a visit but to meeting in battle. See v. 21.
