Jehoshaphat Appoints Judges

19:4 Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem. 1  He went out among the people from Beer Sheba to the hill country of Ephraim and encouraged them to follow 2  the Lord God of their ancestors. 3 

2 Chronicles 21:11

21:11 He also built high places on the hills of Judah; he encouraged the residents of Jerusalem to be unfaithful to the Lord 4  and led Judah away from the Lord. 5 

2 Chronicles 32:8

32:8 He has with him mere human strength, 6  but the Lord our God is with us to help us and fight our battles!” The army 7  was encouraged by the words of King Hezekiah of Judah.
