2 Chronicles 13:8
13:8 Now you are declaring that you will resist the Lord’s rule through the Davidic dynasty. 1 You have a huge army, 2 and bring with you the gold calves that Jeroboam made for you as gods.
2 Chronicles 23:3
23:3 and the whole assembly made a covenant with the king in the temple of God. Jehoiada 3 said to them, “The king’s son will rule, just as the Lord promised David’s descendants.
