10:16 When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, the people answered the king, “We have no portion in David – no share in the son of Jesse!¹ Return to your homes, O Israel!² Now, look after your own dynasty, O David!”³ So all Israel returned to their homes.⁴

2 Chronicles 12:13

2 Chronicles 22:6

2 Chronicles 25:18

25:18 King Joash of Israel sent this message back to King Amaziah of Judah, “A thorn bush in Lebanon sent this message to a cedar in Lebanon, ‘Give your daughter to my son as a wife.’ Then a wild animal of Lebanon came by and trampled down the thorn bush.²⁰

2 Chronicles 25:23

25:23 King Joash of Israel captured King Amaziah of Judah, son of Joash son of Jehoahaz, in Beth Shemesh and brought him to Jerusalem. He broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the Gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate – a distance of about six hundred feet.²¹

2 Chronicles 29:25

29:25 King Hezekiah²² stationed the Levites in the Lord’s temple with cymbals and stringed instruments, just as David, Gad the king’s prophet,²³ and Nathan the prophet had ordered. (The Lord had actually given these orders through his prophets.)
