1:6 Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord which was at the meeting tent, and he offered up a thousand burnt sacrifices.

Solomon Dedicates the Temple

7:1 When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven ¹  and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the Lord’s splendor filled the temple.

2 Chronicles 8:12

8:12 Then Solomon offered burnt sacrifices to the Lord on the altar of the Lord which he had built in front of the temple’s porch. ² 

2 Chronicles 28:25

28:25 In every city throughout Judah he set up high places to offer sacrifices to other gods. He angered the Lord God of his ancestors.

2 Chronicles 29:11

29:11 My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to serve in his presence and offer sacrifices.” ³
