1:2 Solomon addressed all Israel, including those who commanded units of a thousand and a hundred, the judges, and all the leaders of all Israel who were heads of families.

2 Chronicles 9:16

2 Chronicles 30:25

30:25 The celebration included 17  the entire assembly of Judah, the priests, the Levites, the entire assembly of those who came from Israel, the resident foreigners who came from the land of Israel, and the residents of Judah.

2 Chronicles 32:24

Hezekiah’s Shortcomings and Accomplishments

32:24 In those days Hezekiah was stricken with a terminal illness. 18  He prayed to the Lord, who answered him and gave him a sign confirming that he would be healed. 19 


tn The Hebrew text has simply “300,” with no unit of measure given.

sn This name was appropriate because of the large amount of cedar, undoubtedly brought from Lebanon, used in its construction. The cedar pillars in the palace must have given it the appearance of a forest. See 1 Kgs 7:2.
