1 Samuel 8:8

8:8 Just as they have done ¹  from the day that I brought them up from Egypt until this very day, they have rejected me and have served other gods. This is what they are also doing to you.

1 Samuel 13:13

13:13 Then Samuel said to Saul, “You have made a foolish choice! You have not obeyed ²  the commandment that the Lord your God gave ³  you. Had you done that, the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever!

1 Samuel 26:21

26:21 Saul replied, “I have sinned. Come back, my son David. I won’t harm you, for you treated my life with value ⁴  this day. I have behaved foolishly and have made a very terrible mistake!” ⁵
