7:9 So Samuel took a nursing lamb ¹  and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. Samuel cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him.

12:15 But if you don’t obey ²  the Lord and rebel against what the Lord says, the hand of the Lord will be against both you and your king. ³ 

1 Samuel 26:23

26:23 The Lord rewards each man for his integrity and loyalty. ⁴  Even though today the Lord delivered you into my hand, I was not willing to extend my hand against the Lord’s chosen one.
