15:11 “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned away from me and has not done what I told him to do.” Samuel became angry and he cried out to the Lord all that night.

1 Samuel 19:10

19:10 Saul tried to nail David to the wall with the spear, but he escaped from Saul’s presence and the spear drove into the wall. ¹  David escaped quickly ²  that night.

1 Samuel 19:24

19:24 He even stripped off his clothes and prophesied before Samuel. He lay there ³  naked all that day and night. (For that reason it is asked, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”)

31:12 all their warriors set out and traveled throughout the night. They took Saul’s corpse and the corpses of his sons from the city wall of Beth Shan and went ⁷  to Jabesh, where they burned them.
