2:36 Next the king summoned Shimei and told him, “Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there – but you may not leave there to go anywhere!

1 Kings 10:26-27

10:26 Solomon accumulated chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem. 10:27 The king made silver as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones; cedar was as plentiful as sycamore fig trees are in the lowlands.

1 Kings 11:7

11:7 Furthermore, on the hill east of Jerusalem 10  Solomon built a high place 11  for the detestable Moabite god Chemosh 12  and for the detestable Ammonite god Milcom. 13
