1 Kings 1:25

1:25 For today he has gone down and sacrificed many cattle, steers, and sheep and has invited all the king’s sons, the army commanders, and Abiathar the priest. At this moment ¹  they are having a feast ²  in his presence, and they have declared, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’ ³ 

1 Kings 12:16

12:16 When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, the people answered the king, “We have no portion in David, no share in the son of Jesse! ⁴  Return to your homes, O Israel! ⁵  Now, look after your own dynasty, O David!” ⁶  So Israel returned to their homes. ⁷ 

1 Kings 13:6

13:6 The king pled with ⁸  the prophet, ⁹  “Seek the favor of ¹⁰  the Lord your God and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored.” So the prophet sought the Lord’s favor ¹¹  and the king’s hand was restored to its former condition. ¹² 

1 Kings 20:39

20:39 When the king passed by, he called out to the king, “Your servant went out into the heat ¹³  of the battle, and then a man turned aside and brought me a prisoner. ¹⁴  He told me, ‘Guard this prisoner. If he ends up missing for any reason, ¹⁵  you will pay with your life or with a talent ¹⁶  of silver.’ ¹⁷ 

1 Kings 22:8

22:8 The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, “There is still one man through whom we can seek the Lord’s will. ¹⁸  But I despise ¹⁹  him because he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but disaster. His name is Micaiah son of Imlah. ²⁰  Jehoshaphat said, “The king should not say such things.”
