18:7 David took the golden shields which Hadadezer’s servants had carried 2  and brought them to Jerusalem. 3 

1 tn Heb “and the inhabitants, the first who [were] in their property in their cities, Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.”

2 tn Heb “which were upon the servants of Hadadezer.”
