Cystidean. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. a bladder, pouch.].
     An order of Crinoidea, mostly fossils of the Paleozoic rocks. They were usually roundish or egg-shaped, and often unsymmetrical; some were sessile, others had short stems.  [1913 Webster]
