Thicket

THICKET [ISBE]

THICKET - thik'-et (cebhakh (Gen 22:13; Isa 9:18; 10:34), or cobhekh (Jer 4:7); in 1 Sam 13:6, choach): A thick or dense growth of trees or shrubs (thorns, brambles), in which wild beasts may lurk (Jer 4:7), or animals be caught by their horns (Gen 22:13; Abraham's ram).
