Those in the farthest parts of the earth have fear when they see your signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening are glad because of you.
Those who live at earth’s farthest bounds are awed by your signs; you make the gateways of the morning and the evening shout for joy.
They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs; You make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice.

1 tn Heb “and the inhabitants of the ends fear because of your signs.” God’s “signs” are the “awesome acts” (see v. 5) he performs in the earth.
2 tn Heb “the goings out of the morning and the evening you cause to shout for joy.” The phrase “goings out of the morning and evening” refers to the sunrise and sunset, that is, the east and the west.
