Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.
Don't you see that children are GOD's best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy?
See, sons are a heritage from the Lord; the fruit of the body is his reward.
Sons are indeed a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

2 tn Some prefer to translate this term with the gender neutral “children,” but “sons” are plainly in view here, as the following verses make clear.
