Therefore 1 the land has become unclean and I have brought the punishment for its iniquity upon it, 2 so that the land has vomited out its inhabitants.
Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.
‘For the land has become defiled, therefore I have brought its punishment upon it, so the land has spewed out its inhabitants.
As a result, the entire land has become defiled. That is why I am punishing the people who live there, and the land will soon vomit them out.
