"Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?
"Why are times not stored up by the Almighty, And why do those who know Him not see His days?
"Why doesn’t the Almighty open the court and bring judgment? Why must the godly wait for him in vain?
"But if Judgment Day isn't hidden from the Almighty, why are we kept in the dark?
Why are times not stored up by the Ruler of all, and why do those who have knowledge of him not see his days?
"Why are times not kept by the Almighty, and why do those who know him never see his days?
" Since times are not hidden from the Almighty, Why do those who know Him see not His days?

1 tn The preposition מִן (min) is used to express the cause (see GKC 389 §121.f).
2 tc The LXX reads “Why are times hidden from the Almighty?” as if to say that God is not interested in the events on the earth. The MT reading is saying that God fails to set the times for judgment and vindication and makes good sense as it stands.
