Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples invaded the country.
For it was when Israel had sown, that the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the sons of the east and go against them.

When Israel planted its crops, Midian and Amalek, the easterners, would invade them,
And whenever Israel’s grain was planted, the Midianites and the Amalekites and the people of the east came up against them;
