Genesis 4:26

And a son was also born to Seth, whom he named Enosh. At that time people ¹  began to worship ²  the Lord.

Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on the name of the LORD.

To Seth, to him also a son was born; and he called his name Enosh. Then men began to call upon the name of the LORD.

When Seth grew up, he had a son and named him Enosh. It was during his lifetime that people first began to worship the LORD.

And then Seth had a son whom he named Enosh. That's when men and women began praying and worshiping in the name of GOD.

And Seth had a son, and he gave him the name of Enosh: at this time men first made use of the name of the Lord in worship.

To Seth also a son was born, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to invoke the name of the LORD.

And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.

And a son was also born to Seth, whom he named Enosh. At that time people ¹  began to worship ²  the Lord.

¹ tn The word “people” is not in the Hebrew text, but is supplied in the translation. The construction uses a passive verb without an expressed subject. “To call was begun” can be interpreted to mean that people began to call.

² tn Heb “call in the name.” The expression refers to worshiping the Lord through prayer and sacrifice (see Gen 12:8; 13:4; 21:33; 26:25). See G. J. Wenham, Genesis (WBC), 1:116.
