The Lord had not decreed that he would blot out Israel’s memory 1 from under heaven, 2 so he delivered them through Jeroboam son of Joash.
And since the LORD had not said he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash.
The LORD did not say that He would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, but He saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.
