Enjoy 1 life with your beloved wife 2 during all the days of your fleeting 3 life that God 4 has given you on earth 5 during all your fleeting days; 6 for that is your reward in life and in your burdensome work 7 on earth. 8
I did not restrain myself from getting whatever I wanted; 1 I did not deny myself anything that would bring me pleasure. 2 So all my accomplishments gave me joy; 3 this was my reward for all my effort. 4
For a man may do his work with wisdom, knowledge, and skill; however, he must hand over 1 the fruit of his labor 2 as an inheritance 3 to someone else who did not work for it. This also is futile, and an awful injustice! 4
But to Adam 1 he said, “Because you obeyed 2 your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground 3 thanks to you; 4 in painful toil you will eat 5 of it all the days of your life.
I have seen personally what is the only beneficial and appropriate course of action for people: 1 to eat and drink, 2 and find enjoyment in all their 3 hard work 4 on earth 5 during the few days of their life which God has given them, for this is their reward. 6

Yet when I reflected on everything I had accomplished 1 and on all the effort that I had expended to accomplish it, 2 I concluded: 3 “All these 4 achievements and possessions 5 are ultimately 6 profitless 7 – like chasing the wind! There is nothing gained 8 from them 9 on earth.”
To every man whom God has given wealth, and possessions, he has also given him the ability 1 to eat from them, to receive his reward and to find enjoyment in his toil; these things 2 are the gift of God.
‘I know your works as well as your 1 labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate 2 evil. You have even put to the test 3 those who refer to themselves as apostles (but are not), and have discovered that they are false.
We do hard work, toiling with our own hands. When we are verbally abused, we respond with a blessing, when persecuted, we endure,
So I recommend the enjoyment of life, 1 for there is nothing better on earth 2 for a person to do 3 except 4 to eat, drink, and enjoy 5 life. 6 So 7 joy 8 will accompany him in his toil during the days of his life which God gives him on earth. 9
