So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent 1 as they perform their duties.
And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood.
Indeed, as long as I am in this tabernacle, 1 I consider it right to stir you up by way of a reminder,
Then Joshua and all Israel took Achan, son of Zerah, along with the silver, the robe, the bar of gold, his sons, daughters, ox, donkey, sheep, tent, and all that belonged to him and brought them up to the Valley of Disaster. 1

In the tent of meeting 1 outside the curtain that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons are to arrange it from evening 2 to morning before the Lord. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for generations to come. 3
These must be on Aaron and his sons when they enter 1 to the tent of meeting, or when they approach 2 the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they bear no iniquity and die. 3 It is to be a perpetual ordinance for him and for his descendants 4 after him. 5
Everyone 1 whose heart stirred him to action 2 and everyone whose spirit was willing 3 came and brought the offering for the Lord for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments. 4
Then the one presenting the offering 1 must slaughter the bull 2 before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must present the blood and splash 3 the blood against the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the Meeting Tent.
He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must splash the blood against the altar’s sides. 1
Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the meat at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and there you are to eat it and the bread which is in the ordination offering basket, just as I have commanded, 1 saying, ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it,’
“Do not drink wine or strong drink, you and your sons with you, when you enter into the Meeting Tent, so that you do not die, which is a perpetual statute throughout your generations, 1
“‘When 1 the days of her purification are completed for a son or for a daughter, she must bring a one year old lamb 2 for a burnt offering 3 and a young pigeon or turtledove for a sin offering 4 to the entrance of the Meeting Tent, to the priest.
So 1 he is to make atonement for the holy place from the impurities of the Israelites and from their transgressions with regard to all their sins, 2 and thus he is to do for the Meeting Tent which resides with them in the midst of their impurities.
Nobody is to be in the Meeting Tent 1 when he enters to make atonement in the holy place until he goes out, and he has made atonement on his behalf, on behalf of his household, and on behalf of the whole assembly of Israel.

This is so that 1 the Israelites will bring their sacrifices that they are sacrificing in the open field 2 to the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent to the priest and sacrifice them there as peace offering sacrifices to the Lord.
Outside the veil-canopy 1 of the congregation in the Meeting Tent Aaron 2 must arrange it from evening until morning before the Lord continually. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations. 3
“‘Then the Nazirite must shave his consecrated head 1 at the entrance to the tent of meeting and must take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire 2 where the peace offering is burning. 3
Now when Moses went into 1 the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, 2 he heard the voice speaking to him from above the atonement lid 3 that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. 4 Thus he spoke to him.
