But if you refuse to surrender, the Lord has shown me a vision of what will happen. Here is what I saw:
David asked, “Will the leaders of Keilah deliver me and my men into Saul’s hand?” The Lord said, “They will deliver you over.”
Those who stay in this city will die in battle or of starvation or disease. Those who leave the city and surrender to the Babylonians who are besieging it will live. They will escape with their lives. 1

If I give away everything I own, and if I give over my body in order to boast, 1 but do not have love, I receive no benefit.
