Then Jesus 1 asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.”

But I will strip everything away from Esau’s descendants. I will uncover their hiding places so they cannot hide. Their children, relatives, and neighbors will all be destroyed. Not one of them will be left!
Seek the Lord’s favor, 1 all you humble people 2 of the land who have obeyed his commands! 3 Strive to do what is right! 4 Strive to be humble! 5 Maybe you will be protected 6 on the day of the Lord’s angry judgment.
Then they presented the Israelites with a discouraging 1 report of the land they had investigated, saying, “The land that we passed through 2 to investigate is a land that devours 3 its inhabitants. 4 All the people we saw there 5 are of great stature.
Now Barak was chasing Sisera. Jael went out to welcome him. She said to him, “Come here and I will show you the man you are searching for.” He went with her into the tent, 1 and there he saw Sisera sprawled out dead 2 with the tent peg in his temple.
You have not strengthened the weak, healed the sick, bandaged the injured, brought back the strays, or sought the lost, but with force and harshness 1 you have ruled over them.
Then she will pursue her lovers, but she will not catch 1 them; she will seek them, but she will not find them. 2 Then she will say, “I will go back 3 to my husband, 4 because I was better off then than I am now.” 5
They said to the whole community of the Israelites, “The land we passed through to investigate is an exceedingly 1 good land.
Even if your exiles are in the most distant land, 1 from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.
