Thus they will provide the lamb, the grain offering, and the olive oil morning by morning, as a perpetual burnt offering.
But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!” 1
But I said, ‘Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean 1 has ever entered my mouth!’
They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not understand what they are saying or the things they insist on so confidently. 1

However, you may not eat the following animals among those that chew the cud or those that have divided hooves: the camel, the hare, and the rock badger. 1 (Although they chew the cud, they do not have divided hooves and are therefore ritually impure to you).
She should not drink 1 anything that the grapevine produces. She must not drink wine or beer, and she must not eat any food that will make her ritually unclean. 2 She should obey everything I commanded her to do.”
“As for those who consecrate and ritually purify themselves so they can follow their leader and worship in the sacred orchards, 1 those who eat the flesh of pigs and other disgusting creatures, like mice 2 – they will all be destroyed together,” 3 says the Lord.
On the other hand, you may slaughter and eat meat as you please when the Lord your God blesses you 1 in all your villages. 2 Both the ritually pure and impure may eat it, whether it is a gazelle or an ibex.

The king of Assyria was told, 1 “The nations whom you deported and settled in the cities of Samaria do not know the requirements of the God of the land, so he has sent lions among them. They are killing the people 2 because they do not know the requirements of the God of the land.”
yet we know 1 that no one 2 is justified by the works of the law 3 but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. 4 And 5 we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by the faithfulness of Christ 6 and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one 7 will be justified.
The law is the same for the sin offering and the guilt offering; 1 it belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.
