1 Moses answered again, 2 “And if 3 they do not believe me or pay attention to me, 4 but say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you’?”
“that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”
“If 1 they do not believe you or pay attention to 2 the former sign, then they may 3 believe the latter sign. 4
And if 1 they do not believe even these two signs or listen to you, 2 then take 3 some water from the Nile and pour it out on the dry ground. The water you take out of the Nile will become blood on the dry ground.” 4
The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come 1 to you in a dense cloud, 2 so that the people may hear when I speak with you and so that they will always believe in you.” 3 And Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.
The Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people despise 1 me, and how long will they not believe 2 in me, in spite of the signs that I have done among them?
