“You must be sure to do my commandments. 1 I am the Lord.
You must be sure to obey my statutes. 1 I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
You must observe this event as an ordinance for you and for your children forever.
You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations. 1 I am the Lord.’”
Be careful, therefore, to do exactly what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn right or left!

You must obey my charge to not practice any of the abominable statutes 1 that have been done before you, so that you do not 2 defile yourselves by them. I am the Lord your God.’”
You will be responsible for the care of the sanctuary and the care of the altar, so that there will be 1 no more wrath on the Israelites.
“Therefore, keep the terms 1 of this covenant and obey them so that you may be successful in everything you do.
You have not abandoned your fellow Israelites 1 this entire time, 2 right up to this very day. You have completed the task given you by the Lord your God. 3
So you must keep the Sabbath, for it is holy for you. Everyone who defiles it 1 must surely be put to death; indeed, 2 if anyone does 3 any 4 work on it, then that person will be cut off from among his 5 people.
“‘You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations, 1 so that 2 the land to which I am about to bring you to take up residence there does not vomit you out.
So be sure to do them, because this will testify of your wise understanding 1 to the people who will learn of all these statutes and say, “Indeed, this great nation is a very wise 2 people.”
