So Sarah became pregnant 1 and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the appointed time that God had told him.

The land I gave 1 to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you. To your descendants 2 I will also give this land.”
Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; ignore the stubbornness, wickedness, and sin of these people.
Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ 1 I have let you see it, 2 but you will not cross over there.”
Abimelech summoned Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? What sin did I commit against you that would cause you to bring such great guilt on me and my kingdom? 1 You have done things to me that should not be done!” 2
Stay 1 in this land. Then I will be with you and will bless you, 2 for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, 3 and I will fulfill 4 the solemn promise I made 5 to your father Abraham.
Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. But God will surely come to you 1 and lead you up from this land to the land he swore on oath to give 2 to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
I will bring you to the land I swore to give 1 to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob – and I will give it to you 2 as a possession. I am the Lord!’”
Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel your servants, to whom you swore by yourself and told them, ‘I will multiply your descendants 1 like the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken about 2 I will give to your descendants, 3 and they will inherit it forever.’”
