You must by all means 1 return to him at sunset the item he gave you as security so that he may sleep in his outer garment and bless you for it; it will be considered a just 2 deed by the Lord your God.
The Lord will decree blessing for you with respect to your barns and in everything you do – yes, he will bless you in the land he 1 is giving you.
He will love and bless you, and make you numerous. He will bless you with many children, 1 with the produce of your soil, your grain, your new wine, your oil, the offspring of your oxen, and the young of your flocks in the land which he promised your ancestors to give you.
You should not consider it difficult to let him go free, for he will have served you for six years, twice 1 the time of a hired worker; the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.
What 1 I am commanding you today is to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to obey his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances. Then you will live and become numerous and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are about to possess. 2
