Six years you may sow your field, and six years you may prune your vineyard and gather the produce, 1
You must not plant your vineyard with two kinds of seed; otherwise the entire yield, both of the seed you plant and the produce of the vineyard, will be defiled. 1
When you gather the grapes of your vineyard you must not do so a second time; 1 they should go to the resident foreigner, orphan, and widow.
You must not pick your vineyard bare, 1 and you must not gather up the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You must leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God.
He answered her, “While I was talking to Naboth the Jezreelite, I said to him, ‘Sell me your vineyard for silver, or if you prefer, I will give you another vineyard in its place.’ But he said, ‘I will not sell you my vineyard.’” 1
