“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles –
Now when Jesus saw a large crowd 1 around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake. 2
When the disciples went to the other side, they forgot to take bread.
So 1 they came to the other side of the lake, to the region of the Gerasenes. 2
Then 1 he left them, got back into the boat, and went to the other side.
These things happened in Bethany 1 across the Jordan River 2 where John was baptizing.
After this 1 Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (also called the Sea of Tiberias). 2
When they found him on the other side of the lake, 1 they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” 2

Immediately Jesus 1 made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he dispersed the crowds.

Then 1 Jesus 2 left that place and went to the region of Judea and 3 beyond the Jordan River. 4 Again crowds gathered to him, and again, as was his custom, he taught them.
One 1 day Jesus 2 got into a boat 3 with his disciples and said to them, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” So 4 they set out,
