For if Abraham was declared righteous 1 by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God.

But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing these things so that something will be done for me. 1 In fact, it would be better for me to die than – no one will deprive me of my reason for boasting! 2
But Christ 1 is faithful as a son over God’s 2 house. We are of his house, 3 if in fact we hold firmly 4 to our confidence and the hope we take pride in. 5
