For you became imitators, brothers and sisters, 1 of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

By this 1 love is perfected with 2 us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus 3 is, so also are we in this world.

And so 1 we too constantly thank God that when you received God’s message that you heard from us, 2 you accepted it not as a human message, 3 but as it truly is, God’s message, which is at work among you who believe.
Now as for you, the anointing 1 that you received from him 2 resides 3 in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his 4 anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as 5 it 6 has taught you, you reside 7 in him.
