How will they respond to the messengers of this nation? 1 Indeed, the Lord has made Zion secure; the oppressed among his people will find safety in her.
This is what the Lord says: “What fault could your ancestors 1 have possibly found in me that they strayed so far from me? 2 They paid allegiance to 3 worthless idols, and so became worthless to me. 4
You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who has ever resisted his will?”
