All of them respond to you, saying: ‘You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us!

So I, the Lord, the God who rules over all, the God of Israel, say: 1 “I will soon bring on Judah and all the citizens of Jerusalem all the disaster that I threatened to bring on them. I will do this because I spoke to them but they did not listen. I called out to them but they did not answer.”’”
“I (says the Lord) will strengthen the kingdom 1 of Judah and deliver the people of Joseph 2 and will bring them back 3 because of my compassion for them. They will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and therefore I will hear them.
